Welcome to the homepage of No.VI O.C.U. Squadron "The Rabid Gerbils". We are the primary Operational Conversion Unit for the RVAF and we operate out of RVAF Sawston, Cambridgeshire and RVAF Nut House, Merseyside, England. Our role as an OCU allows our pilots to serve alongside other airforces Worldwide, flying a variety of different aircraft in far-flung theatres of war. The squadron has seen action in the Solomons, the Philippines, Kuwait and Korea, and are currently involved in flying McDonnell-Douglas Hornet FGR3 strike fighters over hostile areas of the Middle East.

This site will provide you with information on the squadron history, provide video footage from actual combat missions and also provide you with the resources to recreate for yourself some of the squadron's finest moments.
