08:56 Good for Murch, shame on the nanny government, and again, what will be done about Wakefield?

OBE

08:52 So, it's probably the least that can be done, but at least it was done. But what happened to the Yank who tried to screw him? And why is this item of news hidden in the Northern Oirland section of BBC News, and not on the front page where it belongs?

Leg-it

09:43 It's true. You can build anything with Lego. Images 3591 and 3592 show a Lego car factory that actually makes Lego cars. Argh! The machine is taking over!

Thanks to HdJ for bringing this one to my attention. He adds: The factory is 7 m long, and uses 27 Lego RCX computers to produce cars out of ~45 pieces each. Like a real car factory, you can order cars to be produced in different shapes and colors. The factory contains 8 bridge-like structures where parts are placed onto the car, each car is moved through the factory on a (blue) autonomous vehicle.

Cow-orkers

18:17 I am not your 'colleague'. I am a scientist working for the love of money and a salary that barely pays the bills, and you are a market-led money-sponging scum-sucking spammer.

Must . . . stay . . . awake

18:06 Went to Daresbury at the weekend, worked all night for nothing useful, and now working the late shift because of child-minder oopsies. You expect articulate blogging? I don't even know what day it is

22:00 Marston's Firestoker. Mmmmm . . . caramel. Interesting. As usual, though, the pint goes far too quickly, despite what that second reviewer says.

Something bad happened, sorry

15:24 Ha! How to get at the Mac OS X error codes. Shy knee.

About time

14:31 Kooij is back. Be afraid, be very afraid. I didn't realize things in .oz were so desperate he's resorted to eating hedgehogs. Oi, Kooij, get that woman of yours to rustle up some real bush tucker.
