Fwoosh #2

21:20September gone! Highlight: me getting a mention in The Australian (third item). I did manage to get about 170 photos uploaded and annotated.

October starts with a moon-lit trip through the Botanic Gardens, courtesy of an error in temporal/spatial navigation and two kindly Rangers, and a swing in my new hammock. We're going to get an inflatable croc for the pool, probably when my parents arrive! <bounce>

20:59Most of my time writing-wise has been going into the Labrats, so this place has been a little bit neglected. Thus a brief update.

antiChristmas

The weather continues wet. Some wonderful storms in Sydney this week. Last weekend we went to the beach.

A sobering look at Christmas, from the excellent Suburban Gothic. More photos will appear at deletetheweb.com at some point. The exodus from Cambridge continues, with a some-time colleague staying with us next week as she looks for a new gaff in Sydney. Drop me a line, I still love you all.

PS. My parents celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary tomorrow. That's incredible and inspiring. Props to them.
