Even if the above assessment is wrong, I'd still like to know why doesn't the icon next to the Time Machine Mounted Disk in the Finder's Sidebar go counterclockwise, for consistency? Watching those two go round at the same time hurts my head. Surely it should only go counterclockwise when restoring – after all the MobileMe Sync icon goes clockwise while syncing.
